And so we're almost near, to be delivered.
Cape Maleus materializes;
We are finally in our own.
Cheers, Peloponnesian Sea!
Let's not hide it from ourselves -- we are Greek.
What else could we be but Greek?
Still the Levant stirs up my appetites and shakes my heart
... They are not ashamed of the way they speak the Greek.

Ώστε λοιπόν κοντεύουμε να φθάσουμε·
ο κάβος του Μαλέα φάνηκε·
είμαστε πια στα νερά μας.
