At Copley Square

Youth blows through the perpetual
     Pedestals long-dead glory,
Glows like bulbs through ancient galleries,
Throws its shade on haunted Mansard roofs
    And Boylston's Masonic geometries.

The store displays on Newbury change,
     The names unrecognizable
But youth, strong and frail, is eternal.
