Thoughts on a Spring Day

Scientists say the varian nebula cloud
would smell just like hyacinths
(with a note of cinnamon)
if you could somehow walk through it.

Why, then, can't I get the scent of flowers out of my phone?
Are they that afraid of our poetry?

I won't settle for less than total sensory communication:
you being able to feel exactly what I smell
out of this smarty-pants device!

Shut NASA down for awhile if you have to,
I need this app to happen.

you raise some serious points via poetry - well done, and well said.

shut all the power plants down and then we will smell everything the way it was meant to be smelled.

I'm not sure my Theater of the Mind includes smell...an app may interest me.
