What's Left

The genius of the artist
isn't found in what is made,

that temporary structure
marking where the will was stayed,

any more than God is seen
in a photo of His sky at closing time,

it's in the mind, sifting
to keep the balance shifting true

immeasurable sorrow on one side
backed with body parts and life-size sets and glue.

Process over Product...

Life, Dream, Art.

We are verbal.

Intention left long ago.

Pretense is the folly of hope
stripped of belief.

Answer in tongues
